Design to installation, we will be there to help you realise your vision.

RT Scenic was founded in Leeds in 2012 out of a desire to offer a bespoke technical design and construction service with a focus on quality, affordability, and sustainability.

From our humble beginnings, working in temporary spaces with a handful of tools, to our current fully kitted-out workshops in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, our journey has been one of perseverance and passion. [Our early roots were in theatre set construction and we’ve since branched out to reach across the full spectrum of UK creative and events industries.]

Alongside our Directors, Ralph Tricker and Kieran Myles, we now have an incredible roster of experienced, multi-skilled people working together to bring our diverse portfolio of projects to life.

ECO-FRIENDLY RECYCLING SERVICES AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REDUCTION

We pride ourselves on our commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable practices. To help our clients [you] minimise their environmental footprint we can offer comprehensive cost-effective recycling solutions.

These support circular economy principles by turning waste into valuable resources and giving clients confidence their waste is being handled responsibly.

After your show or project has served its purpose, you can return it to us.

We can recycle anything from full sets to individual pieces. We’ll strip it back to its component parts, separating anything that can be used again.

Reusable items or materials will be given away to companies or individuals in the arts or related industries. You can keep an eye out for these giveaways on our Instagram page.

Whatever is left is recycled as per our recycling policy.

Any timber/sheet material that cannot be reused or repurposed is collected and recycled. The timber and wood products are used as fuel by biomass facilities, helping to displace fossil fuels. Untreated waste wood (e.g. pallets) can provide ‘clean’ wood products for uses such as animal bedding and chipboard.

All metals are collected by a local company to be melted down and recycled.

Cardboard is reused as packing for our builds.

Here at RT Scenic we only use Forest Stewardship Council Approved wood products.

This certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers.
